Dove Parody: Copyright and Fair-Use

I’m teaching a class on ethics as part of the Multimedia course so I’ve been researching copyright, fair-use, parody etc and was given a link to these two vids – which I think are fantastic :)

The first one was a Dove (soap) brand commerical aired in the UK amongst other places that tries to show us that we shouldn’t aspire to be so beautiful and aesthetically pleasing because all the models you see on magazine covers aren’t - they’re digitally manipulated to within an inch of humanity. And the parody? Well, see for yourself…
